The Action For School Quality Initiative (ASQi) HCPS survey is an anonymous district-wide survey of licensed school-based educators.
Teaching conditions in schools are important for many reasons. Whether it’s their relationship to student learning or their strong influence on teacher retention, research continues to affirm that these data matter. The 2019-2020 school year marks the eighth administration of a teaching conditions survey in our district and the results have proven to be very helpful in improving outcomes across the district.
The Action for School Quality Initiative (ASQi) survey documents the collective voices of educators, determining structural strengths and improvement opportunities for our schools and the district. Center for Optimal Learning Environments (COLE) is the survey vendor for ASQi. COLE is a national organization whose mission is to connect research-based strategies and best practices with key decision makers to transform school learning environments.
